Wax London X Camden Town Brewery
We've teamed up with fellow Camden natives Camden Town Brewery on a small collection celebrating the place we both call home. After months of samples, a fair few tastings (strictly research) and some very careful conversations in and out of the pub, it's finally here.
Camden doesn't need much of an introduction. You know the Lock, the market, the queue outside the Electric Ballroom at midnight. What gets talked about less is that people still make things here - and have done for a long time. We make clothes. They make beer. For years we've done it a few streets apart, without ever doing it together. Until now.
Our office is a short walk from the canal. Camden Town Brewery is up the road, under the arches at Kentish Town West. Same borough, same pubs, quite possibly the same bus. What we share isn't just an address. Both of us started small. Both of us still make things the way we think they ought to be made.
The collection is an ode to what we both do best. For us, that's our Whiting overshirt, made in this red, white and black colourway official for the occasion with co-branded detailing. Built for the walk from the bar to the platform, and most places in between. For them, it's a bespoke brew made just for this, and you'll only find it on Camden Town Brewery's website. Their beer, their shop. We just helped with the tasting. Thoroughly. Rounding it off: a co-branded cap and tote.
It's a small collection and a small run, so we wouldn't hang about. Cheers.
